I used to never wear make-up. I upright
hated the thought of wearing crap on my face. Not anymore. In high school I started wearing black eyeliner and nothing else. Then I upgraded to eyeliner and mascara and now I can only go out and feel comfortable doing so with a full face of make-up. That may sound bad to some but I really don't care. For some reason I enjoy the whole process of putting on my make-up, it's soothing in some way especially since it covers up my freckles and 100 LB. under bags which I'm not that fond of.
My make-up routine takes me anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes depending on if I decide to wear lipstick or do my usual cat eye eyeliner. Here's a list of what I use.

Fresh's Umbrian Clay® Absolute Concealer®
I first tried this after a girl at Sephora recommended it and now I'm hooked. It seemed fucking expensive at first but the little tube lasts a really long time and it covers up redness, pimples and discoloration fairly well and doesn't block my pores. It lasts all day through sweat and oil as well. It doesn't cover up my under-eye circles as well as I'd like but nothing is going to be able to cover those puppies up. I'm on my second tube right now (I bought an extra one before I even ran out). You can use your finger tips to apply it but I find it works best when used with a small concealer brush.

Make Up For Ever's HD Invisible Cover Foundation
This is probably what people would call my HG (or "holy grail") foundation. I used to never wear liquid foundation but after hearing so many good reviews on this kind I gave it a shot. It's one of the only foundations I've tried that actually matches my skin tone without turning orange halfway through the day. They have so many shades that will match perfectly with almost anyone. You can either have full coverage or light, which is what I usually go for. It does get oily so I also use a powder on top to get rid of the shininess. When applying it I will dab a spot onto both my cheeks, nose, forehead and chin (one at a time) and use a foundation brush to blend it in.

MAC's Studio Fix powder plus foundation
I'm still trying to find the best powder foundation for me. Right now I'm using MAC's Studio Fix and it's pretty good. Not the best but it'll get the job done until I can find a better one. I'm using the NC15 shade and I think it might be one shade too dark for me. Still gets a bit oily a couple hours into the day but then again my face is an oil slick throughout the summer. I'll use a blotting sheet, dust some on and then I'm good to go. I also use it to set my liquid foundation. it will cake on so use it sparingly.

bareMinerals Well-Rested For Eyes
Currently I have a sample size version of this and I. Love. It. One of the only things that will cover up my under-eye circles and pretty much make them disappear. Use a small brush to blend it in and remember that a little bit goes a long way with this stuff. Put too much on and it will fall into the creases around your eyes.

Covergirl's Lashblast mascara
Hands down the best mascara ever. I've tried almost every one under the sun (besides the famous Dior Diorshow mascara) and it seems the cheaper the better. I already have very long lashes but this mascara still works like a charm without the clumping and spider lashes that some others will give you.

MAC's lipsticks
I don't need to go into this subject but they make some of the best red lipsticks I've ever tried. My HG shades are dubonnet (an amplified creme deepened claret) and diva (a matte reddish-burgundy). I just wish their russian red looked amazing on me instead of looking too blue. Pairing red lips with my almost all black wardrobes is one of my favorite things to do. I'm a vamp and I love it. I use some cheap NYC lip liner for my darker reds and MAC's cherry pencil for my brighter ones. I line slightly outside the lines on my lip so they won't feather. I then use a brush to do the outline of my lips and then use the actual lipstick to fill it in. Blot and repeat. If I want it to last for more than 3 hours without having to reapply I will put on some clear gloss from Boots and blot. That way it lasts for up to 8 hours without fading. When wearing red lipstick exfoliating your lips with a toothbrush and chapstick is a must, especially with matte shades.

NYC's liquid eyeliner
The only liquid eyeliner I use and will use. It's cheap, stays on for at least 24 hours and doesn't crack. I love the brush tip since it's perfect (at least for me) to do my cat eye eyeliner.
$1.99 at Target and various drugstores
I would go into eyeliner but pretty much I only use the cheapest jet black shade that I can find. I'm not picky. And don't get me started on eyeshadow since I never wear it unless I'm going out and even then it's only black with some silver.
